Great Western Railway 175 (GWR 175 for short) was an event held in 2010 to mark 175 years of the Great Western Railway. The event was based at Didcot Railway Centre with other related events around the country. Locomotives at Didcot included City of Truo, Nunney Castle and many other locos based at didcot including there Fire Fly replica.
Collectables[]
A set of limited edition hornby models where produced to comemorate the day and a special GWR tank engine with GWR 175 logo on the side where sold.
Stalls[]
Stalls included that of popular railway magazine Steam Railway and a stall for the building of the locomotive Betton Grange.Amongst other stalls there was also a Scalextrics track for visitors to try there hand at.
